Mrs. PATTIE LEE PRICE, wife of Ira L. Price, died at her home, 11 East Lee Street, on Wednesday, after a lengthy illness, aged 71 years. Born in Stanley, Va., she was the daughter of the late James H. and Lula B. (Stonebarger) Viar, and had resided in Hagerstown for the past 49 years.
She was a member of the Washington Square Methodist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Mrs. Hazel Beatty, Hagerstown; and Mrs. Mary Black, Baltimore; son, John R. Price, Charleston, S.C.; brother, Lloyd Viar, Romulus, Michigan; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Norment Funeral home; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
