PHILLIP R. WEAVER SR.
Phillip R. Weaver Sr., 31 years old of 1527 South 36 street, Fort Smith was killed Saturday afternoon, March 29, 1969 in a plane crash east of Van Buren, Arkansas.

Mr. Weaver, who was a dentist in Fort Smith, was a member of the Highway 96 Baptist church, United Commercial Travelers and Fort Smith Dental Study Club. He was also a member of the Northwest District Dental Society, Arkansas Dental Society and American Dental Association.

Survivors are his wife, a son, a daughter, his parents, a brother and a sister.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bluff Avenue Baptist church. C.D. Peoples and Jim Mitchell were the officiating ministers. Burial, directed by Smith Mortuary of Charleston, was in Roselawn cemetery.
