Eva lived most of her life in Fort Madison. She worked as a supervisor at Hardees for eight years. She worked at the Kensington for 20 years. In 2003, she was a Citizen of the Year nominee. She enjoyed reading, walking, crafts, and playing dominos with friends. She was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Harold Brown, and two sisters Ruth Prough and Helen Stockwell.
