With the Army, she was a nurse in World War II and the Korean War. She also was a nurse for the Essex County Geriatric Center, Belleville, for 16 years before retiring in 1986. She was a graduate of the Margaret Pillsbury School of Nursing in New Hampshire.
She lived in Belleville before moving to Toms River in 1988.
Surviving are her husband, Michael A. a son, Shawn P.; a daughter, Mrs. Mona Johnson; a brother, Rev. Brother J.J. Warren; a sister, Mrs. Barbara Smith, and four grandchildren.
Burial is in Brig Gen Wm C Doyle Veterans Memorial cemetery in Arneytown, NJ. She has a cenotaph in Mtn View cemetery in Claremont, NH, memorial #159836849.
