Mrs. Richard Hohmann, 98, nee Olga Ottmers, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 3:30 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church with the Reverends Casey Zesch and Marvin Roos officiating. Marjorie Ottmers was the organist.

Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.

Prior to the funeral, the body lay in state in the chapel of Beckmann Funeral Home were the family received friends Monday evening, Jan. 30.

Mrs. Hohmann was born April 2, 1907, at Crabapple, the daughter of George E. Ottmers and Emma Scherer Ottmers. She married Richard Arnold Hohmann on Jan. 20, 1926, in St. John Lutheran Church at Crabapple. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Roland and Myrtle Hohmann of Willow City, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hohmann was preceded in death by four brothers, including Henry Ottmers, Robert Ottmers, Adolph Ottmers and one who died in infancy, and a sister who also died in infancy.

Memorials may be made to the Bethany Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to the charity of choice.

Pallbearers included Duane Durst, Mark Hohmann, Maurice Hohmann, Bobby Hohmann and Patrick Hohmann. The great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren served as honorary pallbearers.
