Mrs. Sharp was born March 14, 1868, at Midvale, a daughter of Silas Richards, the first bishop of Union ward, and Keziah F. Brady. She was married to John George Sharp, June 8, 1882, in the Endowment house in Salt Lake City by President Daniel H. Wells. She was an active member of the LDS church and served first as a teacher and then as president of the Union Ward Relief society, later serving as a stake board member. For several years she was in the presidency of the Jordan stake Relief society.
Surviving are her husband, John George Sharp, East Midvale; a son, John Silas Sharp, Murray; four daughters, Mrs. Laura E. Anderson, Union; Mrs. Martha F. Pearson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Louis A. Stucki, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs. LaVerne Snarr, Murray; 31 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Interment will be Murray City cemetery.
