Fred G. Oswald, 63, of 150 Alameda Road, was dead on arrival last night at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired employee of Armco Steel Corporation and was a member of North Street Christian Church.

Born in Butler, he was the son of the late Samuel H. and Daisy A. Gilbert Oswald, Sr.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy McCracken Oswald; a son, Donald Oswald of Butler, teacher at Knoch High School; a daughter, Judy Oswald of Dallas, Tx; two brothers, Robert Oswald of Wyandotte, Mich., and Gilbert of Pennington, NJ; five sisters, Mrs. William (Grace) Allender of Butler, Mrs. Maurice (Henrietta) Cubberly of Titusville, N.J., Mrs. Victor K. (Marjorie) Oesterling of Butler, Mrs. Carol E. (Kathryn) Cross of Wyandotte, Mich.

Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
