John F. Krey, age 90, of El Mirage, California and formerly of St. Cloud who passed away on March 23, 2014 in Signal Hill, California. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will take place in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls will full military honors.

John was born on April 14, 1923 in Albany, Minnesota to Frank and Mary (Athmann) Krey. He served in the U.S. Air Corp during World War II. John was a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Engineering. He was employed at Lockheed as a flight test engineer as well as owning the Krey Field glider airport in El Mirage, California.

He is survived by his sister, Marie Brutger of St. Cloud; brother, Al Krey of St. Joseph; sisters-in-law Bernice Krey and Marguerite Krey; and many very caring nephews and nieces.

John was preceded in death by his parents; sisters and brothers, Marcella (Art) Wall, Ralph, Walter, Martha; sister-in-law, Cynthia Krey; and brother-in-law, Art Brutger.
