DELLA ROSE BANDY, 69 years of age of Hurley, VA, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at her home following a brief illness. Born in Hurley, VA, she was the daughter of the late Chaney and Essie Stacy Justus. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Presbyterian Faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2-Sisters: Betty Mounts Hogston and Ann Vance.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Hank Bandy, Hurley, VA, her daughter, Shanna (Jared) Miller, Bristol, VA, her sons, William Henry (Sandra) Bandy, Hurley, VA, Darvel Dewaine Bandy (Special Friend Wanda Dotson), Hurley, VA, her granddaughter, Alison Bandy, her sister, Mary (Rufus) Church Baker, Hurley, VA, her brothers: Jimmy (Peggy) Justus, Deskins, VA, Joseph Justus, Roseann, VA.
Funeral Services for DELLA ROSE BANDY will be conducted Friday, April 4, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bethel Baptist Chapel, Wolford, VA, with Revs. Steve Lane and Alan Stacy officiating with burial to follow in the Bandy Family Cemetery, Wolford, VA.
Friends may call at the Bethel Baptist Chapel Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00 P.M. with services Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 P.M.
Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
