Pauline Louise Slezak, 86, of Fremont Road, East Syracuse, died Friday at Hallmark Nursing Center, Minoa.
A native of New York City, she lived in the Syracuse area since 1950.
Mrs. Slezak graduated from New York Teachers Training in 1933 and taught in New York City schools. After moving to Syracuse, she was a personnel clerk with G&P Bakery and SCM Corp.
She was a communicant of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, East Syracuse and a member of Chapter 144 of the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Charles; a stepson, Edward of Florida; three granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at Russell H. Schepp & Son Funeral Home, 109 East Ave., Minoa, the Rev. Thomas Barrington officiating. Burial is in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
