Arthur Willmon was born to William Pickney & Sarah Jane (Thrasher) Willmon. He married Mittie Williams on the 3rd of August, 1902. On the 21st of August 1904, Mittie was giving birth to their first child. His mother was there to help with the birth. When Arthur was told she to weak to live, he shot himself at the foot of her bed, because he could not live without her.
