Donald Lee Reich, 61, of Aurora passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at his home. He was born August 18, 1952 in Aurora the son of Erma and the late Oscar Reich.

Don was a 1970 graduate of West Aurora High School. He worked at Electrovend and was currently employed at Cadence Health Delnor Hospital where he has worked for many years. Don was a longtime, faithful, active member and usher at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Aurora. Most of all, he was a loving caregiver, son and brother to his family.

Don is survived by his mother, Erma Reich, of Aurora, 5 sisters, Ellen Reich, of Aurora, IL, Donna (Alan) Christiansen of Peotone, IL, Karen (Peter) Oelschlaeger, of Port Allen, LA , Linda (Brian) Maschhoff, of Seattle, WA and Barbara (Dan) Visser, of Zeeland, MI as well as ten nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Reich.

Visitation will be from 1-5 P.M. on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl., Aurora. The funeral service will take place at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 420 W. Downer Pl., Aurora with Pastor Jeff Mykyska officiating. Don will lie in state from 9:30 A.M. until the funeral hour on Monday at the church. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park.
