Funeral services for Martha Jean Banks, 79 of Tennessee Colony, will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Bailey & Foster Chapel Palestine, with Gene Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Carroll Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.
Mrs. Banks passed away Monday March 31, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 1, 1934 in Arkansas, to Floyd and Jessie Turner. She was a homemaker and a member of Lone Pine Baptist Church.
Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her parents and a son Derrel Robertson. She is survived by husband James Banks, sons; James Banks, Jr., and wife Cathy of Lubbock, Roland Banks of Tennessee Colony, David Robertson and wife Carolyn of Montalba, grandchildren; Michael and Madelyn Banks, Hailey Banks, James Steven Banks, Miranda Evans, Crystal Huckaby, Sara Wessen, Christopher Robertson and Tiffany Bean.
