Leon was a US Air Force Veteran and continued his civil service career working for the VA Hospital and US Postal Service.
To the community he last served, Leon was known as the easy going charismatic "Window Guy" at the Claremont Post office.
Leon loved life, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and camping.
The four phrases that best describe Leon's legacy would be; worked hard, laughed, loved and golfed. He will be truly missed and always loved in our thoughts and prayers.

He was a loving grandfather to his five grandchildren, Ben, Melissa, Tyler, Hunter and Christain, he was also a proud great grandfather to Madox, Adia, Nyna and Mia, he is also survived by four siblings, Albert, Yvette, Ida and Giselle.
He was predeceased by one granddaughter, Jessica; one brother, Leo.
