Jacqueline Epes Devany, 95, of the 1300 block of Westover Ave., died Sept. 30, 1990, in a hospital. Mrs. Devany, a native of Blackstone, Va., was the widow of Walter L. Devany Jr. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three daughters, Rebecca B. Devany of Norfolk, Anne D. Wood of Virginia Beach and Frances D. Shackelford of Little Rock, Ark.; a son, Walter L. Devany III of Norfolk; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. J. Shepherd Russell. Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery.
