Frank Bayard Aycock Jr., 91, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 1995, in Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk, VA
He was a native of Freemont, N.C. Mr. Aycock was a retired attorney at law; member of the North Carolina State Bar and former superintendent of Currituck County Schools. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and he won the Legion of Merit Medal. He was the son of the late Frank B. and Martha Morgan Aycock and the husband of Nell Mitchell Aycock of the home.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Nell A. Richardson of Houston, Texas; two sons, Frank B. Aycock III of Charlotte, N.C., and James Edward Aycock of Black Mountain, N.C.; one brother, Jesse N. Aycock of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted in Pilmoor Memorial United Methodist Church November 4, at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Bruce Allen, pastor. Memorial gifts may be made to the Crawford Township Currituck County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Dept., Shawboro, N.C. Twiford Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, is in charge
