MATTESON--Mrs. Sarah Ellen, wife of William Matteson, died at the home, 413 Oak St., Saturday afternoon at 1:15, aged 68 years. Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Curtiss of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Blanche Hopwood of Deepriver, Ia.; two sons, Chas. Porter of York, Ind., and Alva Mundy of Melvin, N.Y.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Ellen Lantis (?) of Jackson, and one step-son, Leon Matteson of Jackson; two brothers, John and George Shearer of Jackson; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body is at the Knickerbocker Funeral Home. Funeral announcement later.
