Mrs. Wilson had suffered several strokes last week and died Saturday at the Hawarden hospital.
Casket bearers were Ralph Bruget, George Schiefen, Clayton Thompson, George Shannon, Verne Mallette and Tom Burke.
Music at the services was furnished by Mrs. Ralph Gregg, jr., as soloist, accompanied as the organ by Mrs. Hal Shoemaker.
Nellie Birch was born December 21, 1873, at Gifford, Iowa. She married L.H. Wilson in 1899 and they moved to Hawarden in 1912.
The couple operated a bakery here until 1941 and later a tea room until 1951.
Mr. Wilson died December 7, 1945, and a daughter, Grace, died in 1915.
Mrs. Wilson was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, having been awarded a 50-year pin. She served as past matron of the organization and was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Associated church.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lulu Lyness of Phoenix, Ariz., and several nieces.
