George F. Mottleer, 88 years, died at his home on the Colockam this morning at one o'clock. He came to this valley 16 years ago from Ohio and has resided here since. Surviving are his widow and seven sons, D.B. and C.I. who own and run the Columbia River Ferry; H.E. formerly of Springwater, IA but now of Yakima, Frank T. of Leavenworth and Will, Louis and Alvin, all living in Ohio and two daughters, Mrs. Anna Torbert of Plain City, Ohio and Mrs. Alice Iden of Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was a member of the Lutheran Church for many years past. The funeral will be held at Hall & Templeton's Parlors Sunday at 2 o'clock, Rev. Hawk officiating and the interment will be in the Wenatchee City Cemetery.
