Bern, Idaho-Funeral services for Benjamin Willaim Kunz who died at the family home here Thursday were conducted Sunday in the Bern LDS ward chapel by Orlando N. Kunz, bishop. Mr. Kunz was born May 11, 1888, in Bern,a son of Mr and Mrs. William J. Kunz. His boyhood and young manhood were spent in Bern where he was an active member of the L.D.S. ward. He married Rosanna Kunz in the Logan LDS temple, Janurary 4, 1912. For several years he engaged in ranching and stock raising, and in 1929 moved to Salt Lake City to enter the employ of a railroad company. he had been ill for several years and spent much of his time at his parents home in bern. Surviving are his parents; his widow; a son Gordon B. Kunz and three daughters, Mrs. Annona Egan and Verleen Kunz of Salt Lake City, and Merna Kunz now serving an L.D.S. mission in California and Arizona; a granddaughter; six sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Sophie Bateman of Midvale, Utah; Mrs. H.D. Thomas, Mrs. Louis O.Kunz and Mrs. Libby Eschler of Montpelier, Idaho; Mrs. Myrtle Steckler of Bern; Mrs. Ivy Jensen of Ovid, Idaho and Willard, Joseph and Leslie Kunz of Montpelier. Burial was in Bern cemetery, directed by F.M. Williams mortuary.

Funeral Services for Benjamin W. Kunz were held in the Bern Ward chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday. Bishop Orlando N. Kunz conducted the services. Opening song "Oh, My Father"; invocation by Elder Robert Kunz; a trio consisting of Mrs. Vina Weaver, Mrs. Lenore Wright and Elder Sam Hall, accompanied by Miss June Parker, sang "Whispering Hope", remarks, Bishop Orlando N. Kunz; speaker, Supt. A.J. Winters of the Montpelier High Schol; speaker, Bishop Harold W. Langton of the 17th ward in Salt Lake City; speaker, Elder Vernon Snarr, a member of the Bishopric of the 17th ward of Salt Lake; vocal solo, "Going Home",Supt. A.J. Winters, accompanied by Wesley Baker; concluding speaker, President Silas L.Wright of the Montpelier Stake; closing song by the trio, "What Voice Salutes the Startled Ear"; benediction by Bisho Robert Schmid. Shorthand notes of the services were taken by Miss Fife and Mrs. Johnson of Salt Lake City.
Interment was in the Bern Cemetery, and the dedicatory prayer was offered by the father, William J. Kunz.
