Sallie Earle Miller

Jennings, La.: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith, II Timothy 4:7. I am now walking those streets of gold, with my precious JESUS.

Sallie was born on September 5, 1928, in Winnsboro, La. to two wonderful parents Anna Bell Smith and William Thompson Earle. Sallie was eighty-five years of age. She was a Christian who loved the Lord above all else. She was of Catholic faith. Sallie entered into her heavenly home of Friday, March 28th, greeted by her most loved Savior JESUS CHRIST, family and friends.

Sallie was a wonderful, loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all. She never met a stranger. The Lord had given her the gift of a Joyful Spirit and she loved to laugh. She always had kind words for everyone she met. She loved praying for people, visiting with friends and family, gardening, shopping, camping and most of all playing with her great grandchildren. Family meant the world to her. She was a living example of Jesus's love for all. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Ann (Jack) Grizzell and Glenda (Curt) Bowers. Her beautiful grandchildren Kimberly (Pat) Sonnier, Kelli Easter and Todd Prine. Her precious and beautiful great grandchildren, Hannah and William Sonnier, Zachary Easter, Addison, Christian, Noah, Jessica, and Meghan Prine. Her step-grandchildren who she also loved, Troy (Connie) Bowers, Chad (Natasha) Bowers, and Curt Bowers, II. Step great grandchildren Christian, Matthew, Aaron, Scotty, Josh, and Lilly Bowers. Her brother John Earle, numerous nieces and nephews. "Special Friends" Maudra Miller, Amy Sonnier, Kathy Jurls and Connie Paxson.

Preceded in death were her beloved husband of 40 years, Camile Miller, grandson Chad Prine, brothers; Brashear Earle, York Earle, San Quan Earle and sister; Minnie Earle.

Her celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Lawrence Raymond Catholic Church. Burial will be in Bertrand Cemetery.
