Funeral services for Mrs. Mary H. Wadsworth, age 99, were held Friday, June 12 from Farber and Otteman Funeral Home in Lake View with Rev. Fred J. Marsh, pastor of First Christian Church of Sac City, officiating.

Mrs. Donald Ridgeway was organist for the service and Mrs. Harold Whitted arranged the flowers. Interment was in Ferguson Cemetery.

Casket attendants were Jack McConnell, Glen Blanchfield, Donald Ridgeway, Russell Kibby, Dale Cates and Chris Zein.

Mary H. Wadsworth, daughter of George Washington and Mary Rusto Langsford, was born May 11, 1871 in Livingston County, Illinois. In 1888 she was married to Moses Bacon and to this union four children were born: Clyde, deceased; Cora, Mrs. W.R. McKay; Vera, deceased; and Hazel, Mrs. W.E. Kile.

She was married in 1925 to Wm. H. Wadsworth and they made a home for her granddaughter, Harriette Richmond, now Mrs. Robert Lubetkin of Des Moines.

Mrs. Wadsworth died at Twilight Acres in Wall Lake on June 9, 1870. Her survivors include two daughters: Mrs. W.R. McKay and Mrs. W.E. Kile, both of Lake View; one sister, Mrs. Louise Berry of Pontiac, Ill.; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wm. Wadsworth in 1925; a son, a daughter, three brothers and three sisters.
