He was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia on April 19, 1926 to the late Hugh Henry Wiles and the late Ollie Moore Wiles.
Mr. Wiles was a veteran of WWII and served in the Navy aboard the escort carrier U.S.S. Tripoli. He also served in the Army National Guard after the war.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Vester Wiles – who gave his life in WWII – and Jimmy Wiles, his sister Jane W. Clem, and his grandson Tyler Scott Isom.
