"DEATH OF PATRICK S. MALLERY.—Patrick S. Mallery, for some thirty years a resident of Troy, died at his residence in this city yesterday. He was sixty-two years old. For many years Mr. M. has been a leading Democratic politician of the Second ward. He was widely known throughout this county, having held several ward offices, and being an active and influential politician. He had been a Congress street merchant for many years at the old stand where was his place of business at the time of his death. He was a generous hearted man, warm in his friendships, had numerous friends, and his loss will be widely mourned and regretted. His father-in-law was the late Hon. Thos. Clowes."
