Richmond, Norma R - of Spaulding Township, age 71, died Friday, July 17, 2009 at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Burial to follow in East Pinegrove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-9pm. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Norma was born in Saginaw, Michigan on December 15, 1937 to the late John Ecker and Ruth Bissle. Norma married Dale Richmond in 1959. He preceded her in death in 1989. She then married Orlie Wilson in 2004. He preceded her in death in 2006. Norma was employed with General Motors for 25 years, retiring in 1997. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending her summers on Wixom Lake. Norma is survived by: children, Wayne (Dottie) Ecker, Raina (Duane) Ehrhardt, Carrie (Larry) Pagel, Gayle (Chuck) Simmington; step-children, Rick Wilson, Dan Wilson, Sherry Miller, Sue Gilbert, Shelly Smewing; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother Robert Ecker; sister, Helen Robinson, Neva Ryan, Nada Wardlow.
