Eric David Adams was born June 16, 1975, in Port Angeles to Phillip D. Adams and Carol S. Adams of Sequim.

Eric passed away on March 25, 2014, at his home with family and friends at his side.

Eric was a Jamestown S'Klallam tribal citizen (from the Hall-Adams family) and was employed at the tribe. He was very active in the tribal tourism and also served on several tribal committees.

Eric loved sports, starting with little league, t-ball and working his way up to softball and football through high school. His Uncle John took him to many sporting events such as Cougar and Huskie Apple Cup and Seahawks games.

Eric left behind his partner of 14 years, Melody Janssen; son Jacob Adams; daughter Alissa Johnson; sister Sonja Darland; and brothers Darryle (Tracy ) Adams of Sequim and Gerry Adams of Four Lakes, Washington.

He was predeceased in death by his father, Phillip Adams, and grandmother, Harriett Adams.

A viewing for Eric Adams will take place Friday, March 28, at Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel, 108 West Alder Street, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 29, at the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribal Center, 1033 Old Blyn Highway in Red Cedar Hall starting at 11 a.m.
