Mr. Biery had lived his entire life in the Geetingsville area, where he had farmed. He also had worked in the signage division of the Indiana State Highway Department for 20 years and retired in 1980. He was a lifelong member of the Geetingsville Presbyterian Church and a 50-year member of Beard Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star.
Mr. Biery was born December 21, 1914, near Geetingsville, to Earl and Lora Beard Biery. He married M. Ruth Tedlock on February 18, 1940, in Frankfort, and she died March 9, 1990.
Surviving are two sons, David (Karen) of Frankfort and Gordon (Diane) of Floyds Knobs; and one grandchild, Gretchen.
Three sisters and one step-sister preceded him in death.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, with the Rev. Priscilla Bazler officiating.
Burial will be in Kilmore Cemetery.
