Larry M. Cochran, 72 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, April 20, 1941 in Greenfield, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Howard Cochran and the late Marie Marsh Cochran.
He was a retired employee of Goodyear, United States Air Force Veteran, a member of Mt. Tirzah Baptist Church and an avid University of Tennessee Vols fan.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at 4:30 PM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Beach Bluff, Tennessee. Visitation will be Saturday, March 29, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Creasy Cochran of Newbern, Tennessee; two sons, Michael Cochran of Trimble, Tennessee and Robin Cochran and wife April of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Tamela Kizer of Brownsville, Tennessee; two brothers, Robert Cochran of Greenfield, Tennessee and Randy Cochran of Bruceton, Tennessee; one sister, Cindy Foster of Selmer, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Rein Cochran, Taylor Cochran, Kinleigh Cochran, Paxton Cochran, Preston Cochran, Alanna Fortner, Lauren Hallum and Lyndsay Kizer; and four great grand children, Bella Hallum, Brighton Hallum, Joe Hinson, and Ashlynd Hinson.
Pallbearers will be Steven Cochran, Jason Cochran, Noah Howard, James Wilkerson, Jammie Wilkerson, and Wayne Creasy.
In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Anna Jones, and a brother, Gary Cochran.
