Dawn Marie Beeman, 35, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening, March 23, at her home in Havre, Montana.

She was born on August 17, 1978, in Sedro-Woolley, Washington.

Dawn survived brain cancer as a young child and remained determined and resilient throughout her life. She grew up in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Due to her love and commitment to Christ she was baptized in 1992 in Oak Harbor. Dawn was homeschooled through high school and was passionately involved with youth group at Hillcrest Church.

She loved Skagit Valley and worked summers at Sakuma Brothers Farm and the WSU extension station due to her interests in gardening and the outdoors. After high school, she worked at Tutor Time and throughout her young life volunteered much of her time working with preschool aged children at church. Dawn had a heart for teaching and caring for young children. She moved to Havre in 2012.

Dawn was kind, thoughtful, forgiving, and always saw the best in others. She had a delightful sense of humor and loved to spend time with friends, laugh, and listen to music.

Dawn is survived by her father Rick Beeman of Williston, North Dakota, mother Joelene and step-father Joel Meckstroth of Mount Vernon, and her three sisters: Rheanon and her husband John Adams of Havre; Stefanie and her husband Frank Walker of Quantico, Virginia; and Rikki and her husband Travis Powell of Burlington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at one o'clock Tuesday afternoon, April 1, at Hillcrest Church in Mount Vernon. She will be laid to rest at Burlington Cemetery.

Dawn Marie was a dear friend, a beloved daughter and sister. She will be sorely missed.
