Married George W. Boyce 11 SEP 1873 in Shelby County, Missouri.

LOCAL
—Mrs. Geo. Boyce who lived near Bacon Chapel died very suddenly one evening last week. She had been out picking blackberries and upon returning to the house and after doing a little work about the house she remarked to her husband that she felt bad and went and laid down on the bed. Her husband went to the bed and was fanning her when to his horror he found she was dying. He hastily summoned his son and sent him for a physician but before the boy got out of sight the woman was dead. She died within 20 minutes from the time she first complained of feeling bad. Her remains were buried at Bacon chapel after a funeral service conducted by Rev. Holland of Clarence. She was aged about 55 years and leaves a husband and one son.
