Evelyn Bond Dean, 95, of Panama City, FL, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014.

She was born in Scott County, MS on December 20, 1918. She was preceded in death by her parents Eura Vee and Richard Waggoner; two husbands, Woodrow Bond and Lewellyn Dean; her beloved son, Richard Carroll Bond; brother, Brelon Waggoner; and sister, JoAnn Albritton.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Robert Bond; two daughters-in-law, Susan Bond Nadeau and Claudia Bond; six loving grandchildren, Evelyn Courtney, Ronda Teall, Travis, Ashley, Janette, and Tonya Bond; seven great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Raymond Courtney, Justin and Garrett Teall, McKayla, Alayna, Rachel, and Sadie Bond; three great-great grandchildren, Donnie Carroll Watson, Lane Teall, and Douglas Morton.

During Evelyn's life she resided in Louisiana, Jackson, MS, and moved to Panama City, FL in 2000. She was a retired registered nurse; Sunday school teacher, she enjoyed sewing, drawing, painting, and studying her bible. Evelyn was a member of the First Baptist Church. She resided at the Lisenby Retirement Center where she enjoyed the companionship of all the residents, and the staff.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Craig Brannon officiating.
