William "Bill" Plymale, age 56, of Acworth, GA went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, March 24, 2014. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bill retired from the Cherokee County Fire Department as Battalion Chief. After retirement from the fire department he entered the ministry and became an ordained minister. He served as Minister of Job Assistance at First Baptist Church Woodstock. He was also an Evangelist and was known as Pastor Bill to the people he ministered to at the Church On The Street in Atlanta. Bill is survived by his wife Sharon Plymale, daughters, Sondra McArthur (David) and Courtney Roberts (Jeff), sisters, Lisa Flinn (Bill), Deborah Plymale and Barbara Mitchell (Lee), grandchildren Nasya, Adah, Sullivan and McLain. A celebration of Bill's life will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church Woodstock, Dr. Jim Law and Rev. Allan Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Acworth. The family will receive friends Friday, March 28, 2014 from 5 until 9 pm at First Baptist Church Woodstock.
