Mr. Conover was an electrical mechanic at the former Marlborough-Blenheim Hotel in Atlantic City.
He was a fireman at the Bayview Volunteer Fire Company.
Mr. Conover served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and was a past commander at American Legion Post No. 28.
There are no immediate survivors.
Services and burial will be private.
