Funeral services for Katie Lorin Britton, 20, of Palestine, will be at 2 PM Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Evangelistic Temple with Rev. Randall Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Land of Memory/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Katie passed away at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
She was born to Lori Woody and Roger Britton.
She had lived in Palestine all her life and attended Cedar Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Katie graduated from Westwood High School in 2012.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Sandy Britton; and uncle, Brent Orr.
Katie was a beautiful, sweet soul who loved everyone. She was giving and would do anything for friends or family. She will be loved and missed for all eternity.
She is survived by her father, Roger Britton; mother Lori Berry and husband Chris; brother, Andrew Britton and wife Baylie; sister, Ryleigh Berry; grandparents, Ronnie and Wanda Britton, Mary Jean Woody,Jackie and Lillie Woody and Gary Berry; stepbrother, Dakota Patterson and wife Shelby Lynn; stepsister, Victoria Patterson; cousin, Kayla Lacy and husband Matthew; Her wonderful Aunt Ginger and numerous other family and friends.
