Services for Mrs. Avvie Rilla Delaney, 86, of Rt. 3, Lufkin were conducted Sunday in the Allen Gin Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Thornton officiating. Burial was in Berry Cemetery.
Mrs. Delaney died Saturday morning in a local hospital. She had resided in Angelina County for 62 years and was a former resident of Cherokee Co.
She was a member of the Allen Gin Baptist Church.
Survivors include; son, L. J. Delaney; sisters, Mrs. Cleo Stuckey, Mrs. Beulah Calhoun, Mrs. Ella Nolley and Mrs. Lela Gee; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
