Richard was born on March 26, 1958, to Mary Lucille Loupe and Richard Royce Loupe. He was a lifelong resident of Nederland and Port Neches.
Richard spent thirty-seven years as an operator at Total Petrochemicals in Port Arthur. His closest co-workers affectionately called him "Ninja" describing a polite and quiet man with timely wit and a sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife and best friend, Tana; sons, Christopher and his wife, Ashley and Corey and his wife, Martha; brothers, Michael Loupe and Jeffrey Loupe; three grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Interment: Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches
