Mrs. Richard E. Ressmann, 94, nee Meta Baumann, of Harper, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at Fredericksburg Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 1, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home with the Rev. Coleen Haley officiating.
Marjorie Ottmers was the organist and Laurie Arhelger, the vocalist.
Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Ressmann was born Dec. 14, 1908, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Henry Baumann and Alma Klaerner Baumann. She married Richard Emil Ressmann on Nov. 5, 1929, in Fredericksburg and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Betty, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Ressmann was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Jean Ressmann Fridley; and two sisters, Olga Baumann and Laura Baumann Smith.
