Mrs. Mattie May, 71, passed away at her home on High Street, yesterday morning. She had been in ill health for several years.
Mrs. May is survived by four sons, Ed and John, both of Muncie, Ind., and Nat and Luther May; three daughters, Mrs. Hallie Lanter, Mrs. Ida Parrish, and Mrs. Ellen Sexton, all of this city; and one sister, Mrs. Maggie May Harrod (sic. Haggard) of Carrollton, Ky. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at 10 o'clock Monday morning with Rev. Charles W. Grant officiating. Interment will follow in Frankfort cemetery. The Rogers Funeral Home, 507 W. Second street is in charge of the services.
