WALTER S. EYLER, 81, of Hagerstown died Friday at Avalon Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Hagerstown, the son of Adam N. and Bessie E. Arnsparger Eyler.
He was a retired employee of Pangborn Division of Carborundum.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Doris Stine, Williamsport; Mrs. Joyce Carey, Smithsburg; Mrs. Jane Snook, Hagerstown; two sons, Gary Eyler, Louisville, Ky.; and Ronald Eyler, Hagerstown; two sisters, Mrs. Reba McAllister, Cedar Lawn; and Mrs. Nellie Hamilton, Hollywood, Fl.; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by the Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home.
