Ann Wynkoop Granger
Age 61, of Highland, passed away Sunday December 26, 2004. Ann was a wife of 37 years. Ann was an active contributor to the Northwest Indiana Community at various times; she served as president, vice president, and treasurer of Munster Panhellenic, as well as the Highland Chapter of Psi Iota Zi. She also served on the Women's Board of the Northwest Indiana Symphony and of the Northern Indiana Art Association. Ann was a graduate of Anderson (IN) High School, Hanover College (B.A.) and Indiana University (M.A.). She did post graduate work at Columbia University where she also worked at the United Nations. Ann, a former history teacher at Munster High School, is survived by her husband James W. Granger; her son Christopher; her daughter Jennifer; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Nadzam-Granger; and her son-in-law, Christopher David Trott. She is preceded by her parents Bonilyn Wynkoop Pflasterer and Paul J. Pflasterer, and her in-laws, Juanita Glenn Louderback Granger, Anthony Frederick Granger, W. H. Louderback, and Katherine Ann Louderback. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 30th, 12 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd. (two blocks south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, with Pastor Linda Skaggs officiating. Burial to follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
