Juanita Workman Morris TAYLORS - Juanita Workman Morris, 88, of Taylors, passed away quietly at home with her family on March 16, 2014 following an illness. Born in Laurens County in 1925, Juanita was the daughter of the late Henry William and Mary Eloise Barre Workman. Mrs. Morris was the wife of the late Walter J. Morris, Jr. The Morris' lived for many years in Florence, SC where they raised and educated their four children. Mrs. Morris was trained in the RN program at Spartanburg General Hospital. She left nursing for fourteen years to be a stay at home mother for her four children. She returned to nursing after her youngest child reached school age. Juanita was devoted to her family, patients, and nursing career. She was recognized for her 26 years of service at McLeod Regional Medical Center & Children's Hospital. She was a member of Highland Park Methodist Church in Florence, SC. Mrs. Morris is survived by three sons; Steve Morris and his wife Sharon of Blythewood, SC, Jim Morris and his wife Laurie of Taylors, SC, Michael Morris and his wife Brenda of Florence, SC; one daughter, Susan Holoubek and her husband Carl of Medina, OH; Visiting Angel Caregiver, Janice Latimore of Greenville, SC; and Juanita's devoted pet, Sally. Mrs. Morris will be interred in Florence National Cemetery with her husband. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regency Hospice of Greenville, SC or to a charity of your choice. Online condolence
