Glynette Anne (Geyer) (Hege) Laidig, 50, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away in her sleep February 5, 2014 in her home. Born June 24, 1963 , she was a daughter of Glenn Alfred Geyer Sr. and the late Esther May Albright Geyer. She was a 1983 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School and later earned her LPN certificate in 1998 from the Practical Nursing Program of Franklin County Career and Technology Center. After receiving her certificate, she worked at the Episcopal Home in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and most recently at Quincy Village. She enjoyed fishing, traveling to the beach and spending time with her family. Taking care of others was her passion.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Paul Laidig of Orrstown, Pennsylvania; two children, Jessica Benshoff and husband Aaron of Chambersburg and Jared Hege and wife Aubrey of Hampshead, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Carter Benshoff; three siblings, Stephen Geyer and wife Michelle of Upper Strasburg, Pennsylvania, Glenn Geyer Jr. of Florida and Billie Gettle of Danvers, Massachusetts.
