Elizabeth F. Winsor, 84, formerly of Church Street, died Monday in Metacom Manor Health Center, Bristol, where she had lived the past several years. She was the widow of A. DeWitt Winsor.
Born in Kingston, Mrs. Winsor was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Abbie G. (Sherman) Barton and had lived in Smithfield about 50 years before moving to Bristol.
Before retiring in 1971, she had been a private secretary at Brown and Ives, Providence, for 10 years.
She was a member of Grace Church, Providence, and its Altar Guild, was a past worthy matron of Philia Chapter 13, Order of Eastern Star, and past chapter regent of Nathanael Greene Chapter, DAR.
She is survived by four sons, three daughters, 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
