Anna Bell Peeler, 96, of Englewood, died Sunday morning, Dec. 11, 2005, at Etowah Health Care Center.

A daughter of the late Thomas O´Brian and Josie Fronia Miller Daugherty, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Joe" B. Peeler; one son, Carl Edward Peeler; two sisters, Ellen Moses and Emlider Cornett; and three brothers; James Daugherty, R.V. Daugherty, and Charles Daugherty.

Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, James Earl and Edna Peeler of Englewood, Thomas and Norma Peeler of Greenback, Robert Ray and Theresa Peeler of Benton, and Albert Lee and Rita Peeler of Englewood; two daughters and one son-in-law, Myrtle Vaughn of Etowah, and Patsy and Bobby Brown of Englewood; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Peeler of Sacramento, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
