Imogene S. Daniel, 89, of Midawy (Subiaco), Arkansas died Friday, April 22, 2005.

The daughter of the late Horacae and Melinda Owen Stumbaugh, she was born December 23, 1915, in Hagarville. She married Gorman Daniel on March 25, 1934, at Holman Community with whom she celebrated over 68 years of marriage.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Gorman Daniel, one son, Ronnie Franklin Daniel; and four brothers, and sisters.

She served faithfully with her husband in the ministry of the Assemblies of God. This ministry spanned a period of 67 years, 32 years as a pastor of Midway Assemblies of God where her most cherished ministry was teaching junior boys Sunday school class. She represented the church as a delegate to distict meetings. She also accompanied her husband on several mission trips to Latin America.

Proverbs Chapter 31 describes her well in that she looked well to the ways of her household - her husband and children would call her blessed. She opened her mouth with wisdom and in her tongue the law of kindness.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, four daughters, and two sons-in-law, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral was held at 11 a.m. Monday at Midway Assembly of God, officiatd by the Rev. Bobby Johnson and the Rev. C.L. Haston, Graveside service and burial was followed at Annie's Chapel Cemetery in Hagarville. Funeral arangements were under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Home of Russellville, Arkansas.
