Thomas Kime Baker died at a Salt Lake hospital Sunday, March 8, at 6:30 a.m., following a gall bladder operation.
Mr. Baker was born in Murray October 24, 1899 to Thomas and Mary Kime Baker. His father died when Thomas was about two years of age. Mr. Baker has lived in Murray all his life. For a number of years he was employed as a blacksmith. For the last 23 years he as been employed at the American Smelting and Refining Company of Murray in the roaster department. He was married to Lillie Berger Jund 25 1913 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Besides his wife he is survived by four sons and two daughters, Thomas Allan and Willard E. Baker of Murray, Private First Class James L. Baker of Fort Ord California, Private Glen Ray Baker of Paine Field, Everett, Washington, Mrs. Mary E. Olsen and Irene Baker of Murray; his mother, Mrs. Mary B. Halliday; one brother, William K. Baker, of Murray and one half-sister, Mrs. Margaret E. Larson of Ogden, and three grandchildren.
