Bristol - Inga Hanson, 104, of Bristol died on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at Sun Dial Manor in Bristol. Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Bristol, Rev. Dan Overbo Officiating. Burial will be in the Bristol Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Fiksdal Funeral Service of Webster is in charge of the arrangements. Inga Soland was born on March 2, 1900, to John and Anna Olsdtr (Rolfson) Soland near Bristol, S.D. After the death of her mother Inga, her sister and brother moved near Webster to live with her grandmother and Inga began country school there. After her grandmother died the children were split up and she lived with a family near Butler where she finished country school. She then moved to Webster were she worked in a restaurant and met her future husband. She married Christian Moinicken in 1920 and they made their home in Webster. In 1925 they moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, then in 1929 they moved to California where they lived in Burbank and North Hollywood. Her husband operated an airplane propeller business. He passed away in 1964 and after his death she moved to Idaho. In 1973 she married Oscar Hanson. After their marriage the couple returned to his farm near Butler. He passed away in 1983. After his death she moved to Butler to live with her daughter, Esther and in 1986 moved to Bristol to live with her son, Robert. She entered Beverly Healthcare in Groton in January 1997 and then to Sun Dial Manor in Bristol in September 2004. She loved to crochet, quilt bake and travel. She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Clarence (June) Moinicken of Midwest City, Okla., and Robert Moinicken of Bristol, S.D.; five daughters, Gladys (Carl) Davis of Knoxville, Tenn., Helen Mineau of Glenns Ferry, Idaho, Mildred Higgins of Moxville, N.C., Esther Dell of Bristol, S.D. and June Moll of Clovis, Calif.; one sister, Celia Buehler of Webster, S.D.; 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Vernon (Caroline) Hanson of Webster, S.D., Dorothy (Maynard) Syhre of Watertown, S.D., Alice Schmitt of Greensboro, N.C., Doreen (Dale) Beninga of Summerville, N.C. and Marie Johnson of Salem, Ore.; and numerous stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren and stepgreat-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, twin daughters in infancy, two grandsons, one great-granddaughter and two sons-in-law, Ray Moll and Bill Mineau.
