Miss Nancy Elizabeth DeHaas
BEECH CREEK—January 14. Miss Nancy Elizabeth DeHaas, 84, died Wednesday, January 13, 1932, at the home of her brother, John P. DeHaas of Beech Creek, where she made her home. Death was due to complications which developed following a fractured right hip which she suffered in a fall together with her advanced years.
She was the daughter of John P. and Susan Bechdel DeHaas and was born in Romola, Centre County. A sister residing in Pittsburgh also survived.
Funeral services were held at the home of John P. DeHaas, Beech Creek, with the Reverend David Neilson officiating. Burial was made in the cemetery at Romola.
