Addie Lottie Acuff passed away on March 18, 2014. She was 97. Addie was born on February 5, 1917 in Lometa, Texas, to Albert and Bettie Bertchiger.
She was a resident of Taft, Texas since 1925, she was a retired Pharmacy Clerk for Ewald Pharmacy, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Taft, Texas.
The family would like to say thank you to all the loving people who helped take care of her in the past few years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ira Acuff.
She is survived by her son, Gene Newsom (Barbara) of New Braunsfel, Texas: and daughter, Ruth Ann Floyd (Joe) of Aransas Pass, Texas.; grandchildren, Blake Torno, Brenda Herrmann, Sherly Fitzsimon (Nick); great-grandchildren, Cody Torno, Michael Herrmann, Madison and Trey Fitzsimon.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Taft Cemetery in Taft, Texas.
