Bernard "Bud or Bugs" J. Harity. Passed away in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico on Feb. 8, 2009 of Obstructive Chronic Pneumonia. He was 83. He was born to Patrick J. Harity II and Agnes (Merida) Harity Manning. On Feb. 23, 1925 he was preceded in death by his parents, along with his ex-wife, Barbara Johnson on Dec. 16, 2008; two sisters, Mary Ann Hayes and Agnes Harity; two brothers, Patrick J. Harity and James L. Manning. He is survived by daughter, Carol Mac Farlane and grandson, Jesse Kinnaman; son, Patrick Joseph Harity III; sisters, Theresa Pritchard and Catherine Manning; several nieces, nephews and one special niece, Joann Graham. He went to Sacred Heart Grade School and Cathedral High School. He served in the Coast Guard in WWII. When he finished his tour of duty he moved to Arizona for a couple of years and then joined the Air Force for 20 years. His remains were cremated and scattered at sea. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
